Traditionally a rag-rug is started in the #autumn to be ready for #Christmas Today we put a modern slant on this old technique. I made a door wreath or it could be used as a table centre with a candle in the middle. Added little bells for a #festive feel.

Rag Rug Wreath

Today is all about #autumn #decorations if you collected pine cones at the #weekend here are some #ideas on how to use them. Tie/glue ribbon on the ends to hang up, add bells for a #Christmas feel. Bunch a lot together for a door hanging or a table centrepiece.

If you're planning a #halfterm #halloween #fall #autumn party keep the shells of walnuts, Brazil nuts etc. Use a little ball of #felt or put filling inside a piece of tweed to #create a ball. Glue into the shell. You can use as a mini #pincushion or #brooch.
